Redfin, a real estate brokerage out of Oklahoma crunched the numbers and found that winter listings were the second most likely to have a sale price above asking and to spend fewer days on the market. Even in the cold climates.
That’s pretty relevant to what’s going on in Homer right now. Realtors have some serious buyers in the wings just waiting for house the right to come up. Though there are fewer buyers than in the summer months, those who are looking to buy are serious.

- Display spring, summer and fall photos of your house so that buyers can get a glimpse of what it’s like in the warmer months.
- There’s such a thing as too much. Too many holiday decorations or overpowering scented candles can turn off even the most determined buyer.
